What are the punishments for a 16 year old driving friends around?

I’m doing a report about teen driving in California. i was wondering what were the consequences for a 16 year old with a learner’s permit driving his friends around without an adult 21 or older?

The ultimate consequence could be your own death or being responsible for the death of another so it’s best to get a lot of seat time in with an experienced driver before driving others around.

Well i’ve had friends do it and the result was always, getting the permit taken away from them, impound the car and they get a ride home for calling there parent’s and maybe a fine.

1. Tickets.

2. Fines.

3. Insurance rates go up.

4. Suspended license.

5. Impounded vehicle.

6. Your parents get hassled as well.
