Mitsubishi Motors says buyers in this market are after, in order of priority, style and appearance, comfort, safety, price, size, economy and interior space and flexibility. This latter – mounted at the bottom of the dash to enable easy use of the “Sports Mode” – is one of Mitsubishi’s best, and is very smooth.
With a tip of the shift lever forward it changes up gears and back for down, and unlike some other brands systems, can be locked in gear without any automatic override if the engine revs get too high.
