(Persepolis) asked:

My driving instructor is charging me £30 for an hour and a half and because i don’t have a job, i can’t really afford it. She says because her other learners prefer an extra half hour, but i can’t afford an extra £10 ! So, please help me, all my family members can drive except me lol. Thanks.

Doris

get your family to help you you learn by doing study a driving book and start off slow get some one to drive you to a parking lot to learn how to handle the car then move to a suburb then make your way to main streets then the freeway youll start getting the hang of it im 18 never went to driving school i had to force myself to learn how to drive since i was 12 and i would have to drive my dad around when he would be to drunk lol well good luck peace GOD love and weed

You could find another instructor who teaches by the hour, or you could have a word with your family and see if one of the will insure you on their car and for them to teach you.

A good option would be getting a family member to teach you. But they should have hold their UK driving license more than 3 years to be able to do that.
Other option is visiting a learn direct centre and get registered for a motor michanic course. Some collages give free lessons to their students who are registered with them for motor repair courses (Specially agrecultural mechinary).
