How can I view my driving record for free? Is there any way, and if I go to DMV do I have to pay? I want to check how many points I have and have many tickets I still have on the record. How can I do it?

It’s not expensive to see your driving record . Cost is usually around $4 to 10 dollars. You can get a copy from your local DMV office or Secretary of State. Points stay on you license approximately 3 years. DUI’s for life. The points start from the day of conviction, not from date of ticket.

You need to go to the DMV, it,ll set you back $10.00 in Illinois.

I don’t think you have to pay at the DMV, but I know for sure that your insurance company has access to it.
